Our Studio's Office, Gallery and Concept Apartment are located adjacent to our parent company SPRUCE a multi-line wallpaper and fabric showroom in business since 2008.

Nomita Joshi-Gupta - Studio Principal

Ms. Joshi-Gupta grew up in India and pursued her studies in Architecture at LSU and Urban Planning at UNO in the United States. Inspired by her architect father, the international style of her hometown, Bangalore, and the rich cultural heritage of New Orleans, she infuses her design work with a modern and global outlook.
With 20 years of expertise Architecture, Planning, and Historic Preservation, she is an Interior Designer in Louisiana. Currently, she serves as the Planning Commissioner for the City of New Orleans and is a board member of the Preservation Resource Center. Her previous board roles include Chair of ASID for New Orleans, and contributions to the New Orleans Society, Arts Council, and The Green Project New Orleans.
Sarah Allee-Walsh - Senior Designer
Sarah is a graduate of Louisiana State University Bachelors of Interior Design program. She's recently returned from four years working with interior design and architecture firms in NYC and worked with Olivia Erwin Interiors in New Orleans prior to joining Nomita Joshi Interior Design + Spruce. She's been integral in residential and commercial projects through and looks forward to obtaining her NCIDQ certification in the next year.
