After the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, this craftsman Bungalow was rebuilt with a modern twist. The two levels were connected by a stair volume, and the kitchen was opened up to the dining area and garden. The kitchen features custom walnut plywood and hardwood cabinets, poured white concrete countertops, European appliances, and a steel-wrapped center island.
