Our design philosophy is to fully and sincerely immerse ourselves in the design process. We treat each project as if it were ours making informed choices and decisions for the final users of the space. Hallmarks of our practice are transparency, service and initiative.
OUR DESIGN PROCESS
INITIAL CONSULTATION
Initial meeting // Project’s goals // Analysis of your Needs and Wants. Budget evaluation // Fee proposal.

Meeting you to chat about your project - home or office, hotel or spa...We want to know all about your design style, goals, budget and vision. We will the analyze your needs into a proposal for design service.
Upon approval of our proposal the project will go through serval stages from conception to completion.
STAGE 1
PROJECT CONCEPT

Nomita Joshi Interior Design will create a project concept and vision statement with a questionaire, images, sketches etc. We will also firm up phases, timeline and budget at this time
STAGE 2
SCHEMATIC DESIGN & DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
​
Following the concept we will develop the design via a detailed design development package that includes plans and details and selections of
Finishes, Fixture & Equipment, hardware, appliances, lighting schedules, furniture. We will put the project to bid and assist in builder selection.
STAGE 3
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION
​
This phase involves full construction drawings that include the full interior design package, coordinated with consultants on the project.
STAGE 4
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION
​
Nomita Joshi Interior Design will ensure the design intent and quality is maintained during construction phases and is consistent with the construction document drawings.
Coordination with trades & architect, contractor, shop drawing review, site inspections work in progress & quality control will be maintained during this phase.
STAGE 5
COMPLETION
​
The final stage will include curating furnishings, art and individual pieces, procurement of furniture and additionally customize furniture and objects to match the uniqueness of your interior.

We also organize photographers and styling direction for media and press fee.
